Hi! I'm the face behind Balloon Chick! 🎈

I started Balloon Chick because I truly love creating joy-filled experiences for kids and families. As a mom and someone who has spent years working in social work, mental health, and community outreach, creating spaces where children feel happy, included, and celebrated has always been close to my heart.

What began as a creative hobby quickly turned into something I became deeply passionate about — combining art, fun, and meaningful connection in a way that brings people together. My family has been a huge part of that journey, cheering me on, helping behind the scenes, and inspiring so much of the magic and creativity that goes into this business.

Through my work supporting children, youth, and families, I learned that the little moments matter most. Every child is different, and I strive to create an experience where kids feel comfortable being themselves — whether they're outgoing and energetic or a little shy and slow to warm up.

One of my favourite parts of this work is watching kids light up with confidence and excitement after seeing their face paint, carrying around their balloon creations, or showing off their glitter tattoos. Those joyful moments are exactly why I love what I do.

When you book Balloon Chick, you're supporting a family-run small business built on creativity, kindness, and community connection. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of your birthdays, school events, festivals, and special celebrations.

Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to help create happy memories for your family.

Because happiness is
 balloons! 🎈

Rebecca Monika LaBrosse-Lemieux

Face Painter

I've always had a love for art and creativity, especially when it came to bold makeup looks, stage makeup, and special effects. From a young age, I loved experimenting with makeup and expressing myself through color and creativity. When Brea asked me to help with face painting at larger events, I took a deep dive into learning everything I could — and quickly became incredibly passionate about the art of face painting.

As both a daycare provider and a mom to my two beautiful girls, Isla and Aria, I understand how important it is to create fun, safe, and memorable experiences for children. I'm passionate about proper sanitization practices, using high-quality skin-safe products, and continuing to grow and improve my skills as an artist.

My face paint of choice is GTX Cowgirl Face Paints because they allow so much creative freedom while still being professional quality and skin-safe. I love bringing smiles to people's faces and helping bring imagination to life one design at a time.
