October is here, and our design boards are getting a spooky little makeover!

This month at The Balloon Chick, we’re taking inspiration from pumpkins, ghosts, bats, witches, monsters, and more. Whether your little one loves something cute or a little creepy, choosing a Halloween design is part of the fun.

The hardest part? Picking just one! 😂

Little pictures, big ideas

On our boards this month, you’ll find Halloween pictures paired with their names. Kids can browse, point to a favourite, and show us what catches their eye—even if they’re feeling shy or aren’t quite sure how to explain their idea.

These pictures give us a starting point for the face paint magic. A friendly ghost? A colourful monster? A black cat to complete a costume? So many fun possibilities!

A Halloween treat you can print at home

It includes 12 Halloween pictures and words, from a smiley pumpkin to a little mummy. Print it for some simple October fun:

- Play “I spy” using the pictures, colours, or first letters.
- Cut out the cards and take turns acting out the characters.
